About me:
I'm a 30 year old boots and jeans kind of girl. A simple drive around my beloved "loop" recharges my soul... I'm just a hot mess trying to figure out who I am. The things I know for sure are that I'm a wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, cousin, aunt and friend who loves to hard.
I can't stand wearing matching socks and believe that each foot has a different personality.
4 years ago I wouldn't have been caught in leggings- now I wear them nearly everyday. Soft and crazy printed leggings are my jam.
I love pretty cupcake liners and kitchen towels. I collect cookbooks & aprons but barely use them.
Ranch dressing is my favorite and goes with anything.
I could spend hours watching cake decorating videos on Instagram.
I'm slightly obsessed with my pillows. It's a miracle that I haven't accidentally suffocated myself with them all in my sleep.
I'm a firm believer that you can never be to old for all things Harry Potter or Disney.
Music and lyrics have saved me repeatedly. I'm forever grateful for Pandora. Luke Bryan, George Strait and Garth Brooks will always be my top favorites.
I love to travel and am a bit of an adrenalin junky. I probably spend too much time on Pinterest, Netfix & Hulu. If you ever need suggestions for a show, I'm your gal.
I'm finally a mother after 6 years of infertility, GBS, endometriosis, a placenta abruption & tramatic delivery. My son "S" was born at 31weeks and 2days. He spent 65 days in the NICU. He every bit of a miracle.
I have 3 fur babies: 2 dogs- Sage 10, Onyx 6 & a cat- Lola 7
If I could I'd have a bet mini pig and hedgehog 🐖
I'm blessed to be "Auntie Nene" to many little loves. They are my biggest encouragement. For them, I'll never give into this disease or let it define me.
I have a pretty awesome husband who is my number one fan. Im lucky to have had him for 11 years now and married for 6 years.
I love crafting and creating something from nothing. Cooking and baking. This will be my place to share my DIY projects and spreading awareness about Guillain Barré Syndrome, premature birth and so much more.
My newest hobby is photography. I love my new camera. It's been the best therapy- mentally and physically 📸💙
Basically I'm just learning my way and what truly matters in life since getting Guillain Barré Syndrome December 12, 2014. But I do know that the things that matter aren't "things"... They are people.
